Gods are the anchors for the fabric of life. Sentient beings from the beginning of time have looked to the heavens for guidance and knowledge. The gods looked down and granted those worthy of such things. As the people of the world struggle for power so do the gods. Many gods wage war with the other using the people of the world as there pawns, and the worshippers are willing to be used in such a way. Gods are both good and evil whiles some play both sides of the line. Each god is different and has a unique set of laws and powers. Those that worship a particular god usually share in the disposition of the god and can tap into there power also.
